- Obey School Rules – They will be strictly enforced.

- No talking while the teacher is lecturing
- Ask questions
- Put things back after use in the same condition as they were found in
- Participate, suggest, give examples/input
- Seating is not assigned – but is permanent
- Tardiness is disruptive – please limit
- *Penalties will be given from verbal to referral based on teacher’s discretion

- Paper
- Calculator
- Pen/Pencil
- 3-ring binder
- Grading framework will be handed out with outline next week.
- A grade sheet will be handed out next week for the students to keep track of their grades. I will hand out grades every nine weeks to ensure both sets match.
- Late work will be accepted at a rate of one letter grade per day loss.
- Failed grades will require parent’s signature.
- Grades will be given on a straight scale (ex. 97-100%A+, 94-96%A, 90-93%A-….F<60%).
- All assignments will be due on Friday (anytime) – put on my desk
- This class will cover all of the general principles of drafting. We will start out with blueprint construction and work our way into CAD. From there we will get more into product design and assignments geared to solve issues or create new things (design).
- The instructional materials are varied but we will follow all requirements instituted by the Florida Department of Education for Drafting 1. We will also be using Rhinoceros for our 2D and 3D CAD software program.
